Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Reporting
The US Department of Education Certification and Agreement directs each institution applying for Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) to comply with Section 18004(e) of the CARES Act and to post the following information 30 days after the date when the institution received its allocation under 18804(a0(1) and updated every 45 days thereafter.

Imperial Valley College acknowledges that the institution signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and assures that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

- In accordance with guidance provided by the US Department of Education, Imperial Valley College students were evaluated for the following 3 eligibility criteria:
a. Filed 19-20 FAFSA reflecting financial need.
b. Met Title IV eligibility requirements
c. Actively enrolled for Spring 2020 as of March 23, 2020
- Students meeting the eligibility criteria listed above will receive the following grant amounts based on enrollment status as of March 13, 2020.
- Full-time (12 or more units) - $500
- Part-time (Less than 12 units) - $250
7. Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
