The Undocumented Student Program at Imperial Valley College serves all undocumented students (including those with mixed-status families), faculty/staff, and allies. We strongly advocate for the rights of our undocumented community and work towards creating a better sense of community on campus. We are working remotely. COVID-19 Resources for Undocumented Communities

  • IVC Emergency COVID-19 Grant:
    • This grant provides assistance to students at risk of dropping out of college due to unexpected financial emergencies. Provides up to $200. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information. 
  • Jewish Family Service:
    • If you are undocumented or have family members who are undocumented, the Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFS) is operating the State of California Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI) project for San Diego and Imperial Counties. The DRAI Project is a one-time state-funded disaster relief assistance for undocumented adult immigrants impacted by COVID-19. An undocumented adult who qualifies can receive $500 in direct assistance, with a maximum of $1,000 in assistance per household.

    • The Call Center is open 8:00 am-10:00 pm, seven days a week. For additional information about California services and programs for immigrants, please visit the Guide for Immigrant Californians, which includes information about jobs, wages, and benefits, and small business and housing supports. College Mental Health/ Counseling

    • Mental Health Counseling Services at the IVC Student Health Center provides short-term individual, couples, family, and group therapy to currently enrolled students.

    • Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from approximately 9:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Provider availability may vary during those times.
