Who is eligible for CARE?

To qualify for CARE students must meet both criteria for EOPS and CARE.

EOPS Criteria

1. Resident of California
2. Qualify for Board of Governor Grant (BOGG A or B fee waiver)
3. Be educationally disadvantaged
4. Be enrolled full-time (12 units) when accepted
5. Must not have completed more than 70 degree applicable units

CARE Criteria

1. Be a single head-of-household
2. Must be receiving cash aid (TANF)
3. Be at least 18 years of age
4. Have at least one child under fourteen years old
