The project includes new construction trade labs and modernization of existing 1100, 1200, and 1300 buildings to include lab classrooms for computers, electronics, construction, HVAC, welding, engineering, public safety, etc.

The College proudly achieved approximately 72% participation from local subcontractors for the Career Technical project due to effective outreach efforts including ongoing workshops and outreach events to educate and support local subcontractors increasing their participation in the project.
Construction is in progress and is scheduled to be completed by March 2014.

Building 3100: Work completed for this month included 2nd lift masonry walls
Building 3200: Work completed for this month included setting structural steel roof beams, grade, form rebar, and pour slab on grade
Site: Work completed for this month included fire line service and hydrants, and activate site system
WORK IN PROGRESS:
Building 3100: Work in progress includes electrical rough-in masonry walls, 3rd lift masonry walls, plumbing under slab on grade
Building 3200: Work in progress includes wall furring
Site: Work in progress includes the communications data and vaults and fire alarm
UPCOMING WORK:
Building 3100: Upcoming work includes setting the structural roof beams, and setting the steel trusses
Building 3200: Upcoming work includes setting the steel trusses, install metal decking at roof, MEP sleeves through roof and hangers, install roof drains, MEP and fire sprinkler, install beam clamps and hangers
Site: Upcoming work includes underground utilities/stub-out (wet and dry)
