What is the IVC Kitchen and how to I sign up for it?

The IVC Kitchen began in 2017 as our campus' response to students experiencing food insecurity. Many students and their families struggle to afford food and it affects their academic success and well-being. Prior to the campus closure due to COVID-19, the IVC Kitchen provided 2 on-site meals per day to students, staple groceries for their household, and CalFresh screening. Due to the pandemic, we now provide monthly, contact-less, drive-thru distributions on campus, adhering to safety protocols. Participants may receive USDA emergency food, hygiene items, and technology devices. Those interested should monitor their IVC student email and IVC Facebook Page for sign-up links during the 2nd week of the month.
