IVC Kitchen / Food Pantry
A Message to Our Students
IVC Kitchen is a food pantry that was created in hopes of preventing food insecurity on campus. Food Insecurity is the inability to access enough nutritional food for an active and healthy lifestyle, with the means to obtain it in a socially acceptable manner. The goal for the IVC Kitchen is to provide additional resources to empower our students to continue their education while helping them overcome barriers. Any Imperial Valley College student experiencing food insecurity is welcome to visit the IVC Kitchen, our new campus food pantry that houses several food assistance programs. The IVC Kitchen recently collaborated with the Imperial Valley Food Bank to provide a USDA federal food assistance program in addition to IVC's services to address food insecurity on campus. If you or someone you know could benefit from these services, please encourage them to visit the IVC Kitchen in the 600 building for assistance or call (760)355-5736.
