Disabled Student Programs and Services
Students with disabilities at Imperial Valley College are eligible for educational accommodations related to their disability under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Supportive services are provided to students who have the following disabilities or health problems:
Mobility Impaired Speech Impaired
Visually Impaired Orthopedically Impaired
Hearing Impaired Acquired Brain Injury
Learning Disabled Other Health Impairments
Psychologically Disabled
Supportive services are provided on an individual basis as student's needs are identified. These services are offered to provide disabled students with the same opportunities for success as non-disabled students. Some of the services available are:

Notetaking Mobility Assistance
Tutoring Learning Disability Assessment
Vocational Counseling Academic Counseling
Sign Language Interpreting Test Proctoring
Adaptive Computer Instruction Adaptive Physical Education
