BUSINESS DIVISION

COMPUTER LAB 

LAB HOURS
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 8:45pm

The Business Division maintains two multimedia computer labs for students.  Room 901 is an open lab and has 32 computer workstations.  Students may also use Room 902, which has 25 workstations, when it is not in use as a classroom.  Accounting, computer information systems, programming, office administration, economics, management, and marketing courses are supported as well as other courses across campus.  Both rooms have Internet access and current software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Lab Rules

You may use computers in the lab FOR SCHOOL RELATED WORK provided you are a currently registered student and you follow the rules and procedures below:

  • No food or drink
  • No Internet chat
  • No computer games, except as assigned
  • No downloading music
  • No headphones, except as assigned
  • No offensive/controversial material
  • No installation of personal software on lab computers
  • No children
  • Follow lab procedures for record keeping of lab time
  • Use your own diskette to save your work
  • Ask for help with computer and/or printer when you have problems
  • Help to recycle unused paper by placing it in box provided
  • Respect other students in lab -- work quietly
  • Leave your work area cleaner than you found it
  • Do not expect lab assistants to teach class material
  • Do not expect to do personal E-mail if other students are waiting to do research papers or assignments.
  • Need for assistance

If you have any condition, such as a physical or learning disability, for which you need extra assistance, please provide the lab technicians with information regarding your special needs so that appropriate accommodations can be made. You should also meet with DSP&S support staff and counselors.
