Roy D. Buckner, Imperial County Assessor has announced that property owners who have sustained damage to their real or business personal property due to the April 4 earthquake should contact his office. A Calamity Claim can be filed if the damage is $10,000 or more.
Forms will be available at the office, on-line with the County and Assessor’s website. In addition, you can call the office and they will mail a claim form to you. The claim needs to be filed with the Assessor’s Office. For further information please call the Assessor’s Office at 760-482-4244.
